Delicious pie shop. Worth the short detour off the freeway if youre going up or down the coast. Lots of seating and clean bathrooms. They were very busy at lunch and so line was a little long, but worth the wait. I tried the Steak Diane pie and a custard tart. Would recommend both.
Fredo Pies are great and the food tastes amazing, one of the best pies I've had and would glady go back another day and have another. They also do milkshakes, icecream and coffee so they can definitely fill your other needs while you're there. They have a traveller's map that you can follow if you don't have an idea of where you want to go.
What a gem this is. Those familiar with the North Coast Route will be well familiar with Fredos. For those that arent, youre in for a treat.A must stop on the drive with a delicious selection of pies. They wont have them all in stock, but try out a different flavour. Theyre delicious with a beautiful pastry. I enjoyed the coconut spiced beef and my wife the beef burgundy followed by a perfect custard tart.Dont be shy when ordering- you wont be disappointed!
I'm not a pie expert, but Fredo Pies are the best pies I tried so far! Worth short departuire from the freeway. When you need to stop, revive and survive, this is the best way to do it. Toilets nice and clean, service efficient and polite. Recommended.
Love this place. Obviously the pies are amazing!! And the service is typical small town friendly and easy going.
